Glowtick was built so your patterns and your progress stay yours. The patterns you bring in never leave your device. This page tells you exactly what data exists, where it lives, and what we never collect.
Introduction
Glowtick is published by Viframe, an independent software studio. "We" or "us" refers to Viframe. This policy applies only to the Glowtick iOS app.
Glowtick has no accounts and no servers of its own. There is nothing to sign up for and no password to lose.
Data we collect
We collect the minimum needed to sell the app. More concretely:

We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts or advertising identifier. There is no tracking, no analytics of your patterns and there are no ads.
Your patterns and progress
The PDF patterns, photos and screenshots you bring in, the rounds the app finds in them, your stitch and row counts, counters, notes and timers are stored on your device. Finding the rounds happens entirely on the device, including reading the text of a photo: your patterns are never uploaded to us or to any third party.
The Lock Screen counter and the Home Screen widget show your current round and count from data the app keeps on the same device.
To keep the free tier fair, a small marker in the device's keychain remembers which pattern is your free one. It contains no personal information and never leaves the device.
Like other app data, your patterns are part of your device's own backup (iCloud Backup or your computer), which Apple and you control. We cannot see it.
What we do not do
- We do not upload, view or share your patterns.
- We do not sell any data or share it with advertisers.
- We do not use your patterns to train AI models.

Retention and deletion
Your patterns and progress stay on your device until you delete them. Settings → Delete my data inside Glowtick removes every pattern, step, count, note and the widget's data that the app has stored on this device. Deleting the app also removes the on-device data; only the keychain marker for the free pattern stays, so the free pattern is not granted twice.
Deleting your data does not cancel a subscription. Subscriptions are managed by Apple: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Your rights
You can ask what data exists about you, ask us to delete the anonymous purchase record held by RevenueCat, or ask anything else. Email us at hello@viframe.ai and we will respond within 7 days.
